Union FC Indy Announces Supplemental Tryouts for the 26/27 Season

Did conflict, travel, or school schedules keep you away from our main tryout dates? Don’t worry—your chance to don the Union FC Indy crest for the upcoming 2026/2027 seasonal year is right here.


We are hosting Supplemental Tryouts on Wednesday, June 10, to capture those talented players who missed our initial sessions.


We are actively seeking dedicated, hardworking, and passionate players to round out our team rosters. If you are looking for an environment that prioritizes elite player development, strong team culture, and competitive success, we want to see you on the pitch.


Tryout Schedule

Date: Wednesday, June 10

Location: Union FC Indy Training Fields

To ensure everyone gets a high-quality, focused evaluation, players will take the field during the following specific age group windows:

  • U7 - U10: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
  • U11 - U14: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • U15 - U18+: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

What to Bring & Player Checklist

To make check-in as efficient as possible, please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled slot. All players should bring:

  • Appropriate soccer attire (shin guards are mandatory)
  • Cleats / Soccer boots
  • Plenty of water

Union FC Indy Announces U11 and U12 Girls Teal I Acceptance into Girls Academy Inspire

Union FC Indy is proud to announce that our U11 and U12 Girls Teal I teams have been officially accepted into the Girls Academy Inspire platform for the upcoming season. This milestone highlights our club’s commitment to providing elevated developmental opportunities for young female athletes. Girls Academy Inspire is the newly launched U11–U12 platform within the Girls Academy pathway. Designed to introduce players and families to the Girls Academy environment, Inspire emphasizes growth, education, and long-term development. The platform features regionalized competition, ensures appropriate competitive levels, and supports a clear progression toward higher stages of the pathway, including Aspire and the Girls Academy’s elite U13–U19 competition structure. Sporting Director Robert Klatte shared his thoughts on Union FC Indy’s participation: “Participating in the Girls Academy Inspire (U11‑U12 Girls) and Pre‑ECNL (U9‑U12 Academy) regional competition provides our players with a higher level of competition that accelerates individual development, challenges them in meaningful game environments, and better prepares them for future pathways within the game. These experiences support our commitment to maximizing each player's potential through quality coaching, competitive opportunities, and long-term player growth.” This acceptance marks a significant step forward in enhancing our developmental pathway and ensuring our players experience meaningful, well-structured competition. We look forward to supporting our Teal I teams as they begin this exciting new chapter within the Girls Academy environment.

Whether your athlete is just starting their soccer journey or ready to take the next step in a competitive pathway, these dates are the gateway to an incredible season ahead. Mark your calendars now so your player doesn’t miss their chance to be part of the Union FC Indy family for 2026–2027. Tuesday & Wednesday, June 2–3 U9/U10 Tryouts (Jr Academy) Young athletes born in the appropriate age groups are invited to showcase their skills, energy, and passion for the game. Our Jr Academy program focuses on building strong technical foundations and fostering a love for soccer in a competitive, supportive environment. U7/U8 Evaluations (Pathway) For players beginning their developmental journey, these evaluations help place athletes in the right environment to grow. The Pathway program emphasizes learning, confidence, and fun while preparing players for future competitive opportunities. Thursday, June 4 U5/U6 Evaluations (Futures) Our youngest players get their moment to shine. Futures evaluations are designed to introduce kids to the game in a positive, encouraging setting. This is where many Union FC Indy journeys begin. Monday & Tuesday, June 8–9 U11+ Tryouts (Sr Academy, Jr Travel, Sr Travel) Older players looking to compete at higher levels will have the opportunity to earn their spot in one of our advanced programs. These sessions are designed to identify athletes ready for elevated training, competitive league play, and continued development within the Union FC Indy system. Don’t Miss Out Tryouts and evaluations are a crucial step in shaping each player’s season.
