Travel U13-U19

Union FC Indy seeks to empower young athletes to reach their full potential through exceptional player development within a team environment, innovative and elite coaching, and a dynamic, tight-knit, social culture.


The Union FC Indy Travel Soccer program is designed for players who are eager to develop their skills at a competitive level, particularly those aspiring to play high school or collegiate soccer.


Our Travel program focuses on player development, refining both individual and team skills. Each week, players receive technical and tactical training from a licensed youth soccer coach, overseen by the Union FC Indy Directors of Coaching.


Travel teams range from U13 to U14 in the fall and U13 to U19 in the spring. These teams compete at the state (ISL) or in NewComp. Temporarily branded "NewComp" is the top team-based competition in US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, elevating teams across the country into a unified national platform integrated with the ECNL.


In addition to league play, teams enter tournaments each season as determined by the club.


Training

  • Junior Travel teams will have three team trainings per week during the fall and spring outdoor seasons. 
  • Senior Travel teams will have four team trainings per week during the spring outdoor seasons.
  • Travel teams will get two training sessions per week over the winter. 


League Games

  • Junior and Senior Travel Teams compete in the Indiana Soccer League (ISL) or NewComp. Temporarily branded "NewComp" is the top team-based competition in US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, elevating teams across the country into a unified national platform integrated with the ECNL.


Tournaments

  • Junior and Senior Travel team fees cover 5 tournaments.


Additional Foot Skills Training Opportunities

Coach Mo offers his dynamic footskills training in a pay to play scenario through the fall, winter and spring for Junior Travel players. 


Additionally, To help facilitate players’ ability to develop their technical skills at home, Union FC Indy provides every one if it’s players access to the Techne Futbol App (“the soccer training app designed by pros for the motivated player looking to improve on their own”).


TOVO Team Visit Travel Opportunity

Junior Travel players will have the opportunity to go on a Team Visit to TOVO Academy in Sitges, Spain (a breathtaking Mediterranean town near Barcelona). 


The trip will be Fall Break 2026, leaving on Saturday, October 10th, and returning on Sunday, October 18th, 2026. 


We will have an informational meeting about the TOVO Team Visit in early-April. 


As part of the TOVO Team Visit, players will enjoy Mediterranean Villa accommodations, three meals a day prepared by TOVO’s chef, two professional academy trainings per day led by TOVO Academy’s experienced educators and professional coaches (the stadium where the players train overlooks the Mediterranean Sea), a day of sightseeing in Barcelona, and receive a full TOVO training kit. 


TOVO Academy was founded by Todd Beane, who, prior to founding TOVO, worked for 14 years with the Cruyff Foundation. A huge proponent of Johann Cruijff’s positional play, Todd Beane’s TOVO Academy conducts an array of coach and player development programs. You can find out more about TOVO here.
