Individual Player Profile & Development Hub
The Rule of 3 Framework
Our coaching staff establishes a fluid, custom "Rule of 3" for every player. This acts as the baseline structure for consistent, timely feedback, reminders, and target benchmarks throughout the year.
Rule 1 Super Strength
The specific tactical or technical attribute from your primary position profile that matches your absolute greatest strength. Coaches focus on honing this into an elite asset.
Rule 2 Area of Growth
The attribute within your primary position that presents the largest room for developmental improvement to take your overall game to the next level.
Rule 3 Area to Supplement
An attribute selected from an entirely different position profile that you consciously adopt to round out your style and unlock new capabilities on the pitch.
* Note: A Rule of 4 may be implemented if a player requires extra localized support inside the Core Universal Habits or Decisions.
Individual Player Profile Calendar
Development is monitored and adjusted dynamically over three major phases across the calendar year:
Coaches scout players in live sessions, evaluate position placements, and begin drafting individual player development profiles.
Coaches finalize primary positions. Players actively collaborate by logging their perceived primary strengths, weak attributes, and target supplemental skills.
Coaches finalize and locks the formal initial "Rule of 3" profile and schedule 1-on-1 check-ins with players to realign goals.
Coaches reinforce profile targets heading into indoor/winter training. Mid-year evaluation meetings occur if an active position or developmental role pivots.
As winter training wraps, coaches clarify, adjust, and deploy refined developmental targets tailored for the outdoor Spring season.
Coaches distribute final, optimized player profiles capturing full growth data across the entire competitive year cycle.
Post-Activity Reflection Routine

Vertical as Possible or Horizontal as Needed?
🔥 The 8 Key Habits
| Habit | On-Pitch Execution Standard |
|---|---|
| Scan Frequently | Track the ball with every touch. Scan completely away from the ball immediately after impact. Make the final pre-reception scan as late as possible. Constantly scan the field during all dead balls. |
| 5-Second Rule | The player who turns over the ball (or the closest teammate) must trigger an immediate, aggressive recovery press. If possession is not reclaimed within 5 seconds, drop and organize defensively. |
| Be Available | Constantly adjust off-ball positioning to offer the ball-carrier an unblocked, direct passing lane. Vacate spaces where an opponent blocks the straight line connection. |
| Communication | Utilize precise vocal commands paired with expressive non-verbal cues (hips, body angles, gestures, eye-contact) to orchestrate continuous team interaction. |
| Body Shape | Maintain an open stance facing up-field. Receive the ball across the body on the far foot. Stay side-on to simultaneously see both goals and three corners of the field. |
| Weight of Pass | Pass intentionally: hit the teammate's back foot if they have space, target their near foot under tight pressure, or lead them into open grass to optimize their next touch. |
| Press on Cue | Sprint explosively to drop the opponent's chin upon triggers: slow/lofted/bouncing passes, poor touches, backward passes, closed body orientations, or boundaries. |
| Compact or Expand? | Out of possession: contract defensively, close internal lines, and pack numbers behind the ball. In possession: stretch the layout to maximum width and depth. |
Position Specific Profiles
Deep tactical breakdown across all positional profiles. Select and apply the specific matrices corresponding to individual primary roles on the pitch:
🧤 Goalkeeper (Pos 1)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Distributor | Switch through weak-side defenders; long balls over the top; inside passes to central mids; precise hand rolls or overhand throws to spark fast breaks; dual-foot proficiency; absolute command of punt, drop kick, and side volleys. |
| Communicator | Organize the rest-defense structure (aiming for +1 overload or even parity); clear audible commands ("Keeper!", "Away!"); direct set-piece and corner walls; direct team shape out of deep possession. |
| Technique Saves | Master selection between low/collapse dives, contour/basket/scoop catches, block saves versus spread saves, and clean catching or parrying high direct or wide angled aerial efforts. |
| 1v1 Execution | Master timing on when to aggressively pin an attacker space or stick close to line; confidently cross the penalty spot to disrupt clean angles; execute block/spread formats. |
| Cross Mastery | Perfect start positioning based on live ball lines; decisive choice to assertively claim cross vs plant for recovery shot; orchestrate high command voice calls. |
| Angle Selection | Hold the exact tactical ball-line to protect both posts simultaneously; vary set height depending on incoming shot range; manage closing space parameters. |
| Sweeper Keeper | Hold high line positions to clean long balls delivered over defense; offer an active recycling pass outlet for back line; serve seamlessly as an active 11th outfield distributor. |
🛡️ Center Back (Pos 4 / 5)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Distributor | Clean ground scope: keeper drops, defender switches, diagonal center-mid split entries, line adjustments; elite flighted long driven balls targeting wide outlets or target center forwards; high precision volleys. |
| Receiver | Flawless trap mechanics: open across the body on the far foot, use the outside of the far foot under tracking arcs, or use the inside near foot; deploy sleek Cruyff receptions; master aerial chest/thigh control. |
| Supporting | Open wide angles immediately on goalkeeper backpass drops; establish a safe supporting bowl structure underneath attacking movements to act as a release option. |
| Turner | Seamless side-to-side escape cuts under direct high press: inside/outside foot cuts, traditional Cruyff turns, feints, and fluid step-over directional adjustments. |
| Line Breaker | Dribble out with speed past opposition forward lines to expand central pass lanes, overload deep mid zones, and drag opposing defensive midfielders out of standard shape. |
| Organizer | Maintain a rigid, protected rest-defense layer (+1 rule); shift midfield coverage; read and drop early to neutralize over-the-top long balls; push lines forward to steal yards. |
| Positioner | Maintain continuous dual-vision (See mark, see ball); anchor goal-side and ball-side positioning; face out on cross sequences; turn side-on whenever deep entries launch. |
| 1v1 Defense | Hold side-on stance, low knees, and arc runs to force targets outside; delay and contain patiently without diving in; use body-shields or clean timed slide/tackle adjustments; fast recovery if beaten. |
🏃♂️ Outside Back (Pos 2 / 3)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Bypasser | When CB/CM has unpressed time, push wide to generate high channels bypassing opposing wingers; tuck infield to establish vertical split options; drop low under high pressure to offer release lines. |
| Recycler | Recognize numerical traps early, spin cleanly away from boundary pressure, and redirect the ball through back line transfers to ignite alternative attack vectors. |
| Distributor | Master cross-field weak-side defensive switches; punch outside-of-foot line passes; hit over-the-top long channels; strike inside mid fields to launch quick combination metrics. |
| Receiver | Take far-foot entry shapes on build-ups; secure clean pressure-escaping Cruyff receptions; receive central splits completely side-on to advance; drop short lay-offs if back to goal. |
| Forward Runner | Execute explosive overlapping runs to overwhelm flanks; time deep underlapping vertical moves inside; perform quick combination releases on wing triggers. |
| Dribbler | Advance channels cleanly using tactical ball-fakes, deep Cruyff pivots, deceptive clear-out feints, and swift inside/outside baseline cuts. |
| Rest Defender | When ball-side outside back accelerates forward, opposite flank tucks central to establish a secure 2v1 structure behind with center backs or steps up to assist defensive mids. |
🎯 Center Midfielder (Pos 6 / 8 / 10)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Destroyer | Read threat vectors early to tracking-intercept attacks; ensure perfect midfield balance behind ball progression; drop deep to track blindside runner entries. |
| Pocket Finder | Drift side-on in gaps between lines; provide internal diamond support angles out wide; present drop choices underneath center forwards; change angles immediately post-pass. |
| Passer | Command all mid ranges with crisp two-touch distribution; drop one-touch flick setups; initiate third-man combinations; deploy flighted mid-range balls over defense lines. |
| Evader | Eliminate blind high pressure from behind via one-touch turns, body shifts, open far-foot step-pasts, and retreat escape-dribbles to create passing sight-lines. |
| Dribbler | Carve out mid space utilizing sharp lateral transitions (La Croqueta), sudden ball fakes, and inside/outside balance cuts. |
| Runner | Expose defensive gaps via deep late box runs, opposite blindside vertical cuts, sharp combination interchanges, and wide forward lane swaps. |
⚡ Wide Forward (Pos 7 / 11)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Defender | Trigger unified collective counter-pressing shapes; lock forward entry vectors; tuck central when ball shifts mid or opposite flank; track running deep backs. |
| Runner | Tuck into interior half-spaces when fullbacks advance; time deep vertical runs down the blind shoulder of tracking defenders; execute short-to-long decoy moves. |
| 1v1 Dribbler | Isolate opponents using direct feints, scissors, sharp cuts, croquetas, "L" transitions, and close-quarter shield controls. |
| Driver | Execute distinct patterns: In-and-Up (drive central, explode wide), Back-and-Up (pull away from baseline, accelerate back), Up-and-In, and stop-start speed changes. |
| Receiver | Cushion direct service using instant Cruyff receptions; manipulate aerial balls cleanly with chest, thigh, or laces; spark quick interior combos. |
| Combiner | Serve as the primary wall outlet for overlapping outside backs; master quick give-and-go interchanges; execute accurate third-man lay-off sets. |
| Crosser | Deliver curved service behind deep defensive blocks; strike early low crosses; play accurate baseline cutbacks (Bangu) and deep far-post diagonal flighted crosses. |
⚽ Center Forward (Pos 9)
| Pillar | Core Attributes & Action Behaviors |
|---|---|
| Target Player | Master hold-up play under physical pressure; execute soft third-man look setups; check short into midfield pockets to draw out central defenders; absorb direct aerial balls on chest or thigh. |
| Finisher | Deploy a lethal repertoire: laced power strikes, inside/outside precision placements, directional shot-cuts, quick turn-and-shoots from holdups, front/side/half volleys, and aerial adjustments. |
| Combiner | Act as both the initial wall anchor or target runner across give-and-gos, vertical three-in-a-line transitions, and up-back-through combinations. |
| Presser | Provide the crucial first line of defense; force opposing center backs into crowded tracking lanes; hunt pressing cues aggressively to turn heads down. |
| Dribbler | Create isolation shots with fake shot drops, quick cuts, croquetas, rake moves, and tactical decelerate-and-explode variations. |
| Runner | Create team depth by stretching back lines; slip off the blind-side shoulder of markers; time decoy short-to-long cuts; make deep diagonal corner runs. |
